Farai Chagombera
Managing Partner
Farai is the founding partner and chief consultant at Protege Consulting. Farai has over 17 years hands on experience advising clients on how to build strong and irresistible brands across various sectors.
He has worked in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and Guinea Conakry where he consulted on local and multinational companies such as Coca Cola, Guiness, Unilever, Olam Foods, Cadbury, UNICEF, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, WHO, Nigerian Breweries, MTN, Etsalat and many other key accounts.
Farai worked as an Account Director responsible for business development, account management, Insights generation and Account profitability.
His key responsibilities included; client advisory, manpower training, Advanced data interpretation, Presentation of key findings, business sourcing and ensuring clients get actionable insights that guide strategy formulation.
Farai honed his research experience at Q-Mulative research and Probe Market Research in Zimbabwe Where he worked as a Data Analyst and Senior Researcher respectively. He then moved to Botswana where he worked as a Research Manager at MTC Market research before taking a senior role in Nigeria where he covered several key account across West Africa.
Farai Holds a Diploma in Accounting, Marketing and a degree in Business Studies.
Maxwell Chivasa
Business Development Director
Maxwell is a seasoned research specialist with over 20 years of experience across regional and Southern African markets. He possesses a deep dual expertise in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, allowing him to deliver comprehensive insights for diverse business landscapes.
Throughout his career, Maxwell has held senior leadership roles at several prominent firms:
Vision Africa Research Services (Namibia): Served as Account Director, spearheading business development and service delivery across the Southern African region.
Research International Zimbabwe: Acted as Key Account Manager, overseeing strategic operations for both the Zimbabwe and Botswana markets.
MTC Botswana & Probe Market Research: Built a strong foundational career in account management and as a Senior Research Executive.
Maxwell holds a Bachelor of Business Studies, a Diploma in Marketing Management, and an LCCI Certificate in Sales and Marketing.
His extensive tenure and pan-African market knowledge make him a vital asset in navigating complex consumer environments.
